Su diseño, de Carlos Buxadé Ribot, Joan Margarit Consarnau y Emilio Llano, cuenta con numerosos y ordenados accesos que permiten acceder a todos los niveles. La cubierta azul ligeramente arqueada, sustentada por tirantes que suben por la fachada hasta los castilletes de celosía, cubre la totalidad de sus 30.500 plazas, dejado sólo el hueco abierto sobre el terreno de juego.
