 Samarkand Art Residence's inaugural art residency exhibition on the destruction of the Aral Sea. Once the world's fourth largest inland body of water, this major human-induced environmental catastrophe in our modern history was the result of unsustainable agriculture cultivation and poor irrigation management. 
Art Residence gathered artists from Uzbekistan, Latvia, Georgia, Egypt, Kazakhstan, South Korea, and the United Kingdom
