The FE Statue

The sculpture commonly known as "The FE Statue" is placed in front of La Biennale di Venezia for the 60th International Art Exhibition, titled Stranieri Ovunque – Foreigners Everywhere, curated by Adriano Pedrosa at the Giardini and Arsenale venues. The meaning of this sculpture is to introduce the exhibition's theme; everyday, everywhere, we meet people in their own environment, which, at fist impact are strangers to us, but then we are perceived strangers to them as well.
