NIKO - For thinking about invisible world through making Japanese fermentation food

Keiko32 views

This space is for enjoying the normally invisible world of micro-organisms. The project designs a fermentation kit for making rice malt called NIKO (Nuka in Koji out) and explored its potential as a tool for environmental education and encouraging non-human considerations in daily life. In the exhibition, visitors can see the educational material kit that was developed through co-designing with micro-organisms, which are familiar living creatures, and the workshops using NIKO.
