We will be exploring in Spanish how Matthew Butterick, a writer, designer, programmer, and lawyer, has announced a lawsuit against Stability AI, DeviantArt, and Midjourney for their use of Stable Diffusion, an AI-powered tool that remixes copyrighted works of artists. This lawsuit comes in the wake of concerns from creators worldwide about AI systems being trained on vast amounts of copyrighted work without consent, credit, or compensation.
